The colors in the Paradice Tossed painting are reminiscent of a tropical paradise. The abstract shapes include the suggestion of a palm tree, a parrot, and a deep sea creature. While these elements may set a cheerful tone, the chaotic organization leads the viewer to suspect "trouble brewing in paradise."
